The location is beautiful and it is right on the river allowing for great fishing opportunities or just enjoying the view. The drive to the cabin is amazingly scenic but you need to be a little adventurous as the road is just a dirt road for a large portion. Go slow and be willing to work with other drivers going the opposite direction if you should happen to run into someone as one of you will probably have to pull over and let the other go by.
The owner was nice and friendly but thought it was okay to tell me dirty stories within minutes of meeting me.
It is a very beautiful house/cabin and you can tell the owner has put a lot of work into it but their are some areas that need maintenance. The rail on the steps down to the hot tub was missing pieces and would be very dangerous for little ones or the elderly. While we were there the hot tub looked muddy and very uninviting and the owner just said it was filled with well water and didn't do anything about it. This was a big disappointment to us.
Awesome small mouth bass fishing and beautiful country
I would stay again if the hot tub and hand rails were fixed. It has the potential to be a great get away spot.
